But even when Trump is removed from the equation, journalists and experts hear whispers close to the source and wonder if there are also some internal issues between the couple that have led to these absences.
Tara Palmeri, Puck News’s senior political correspondent, and blogger Meghan McCain were on a podcast. McCain said she had heard the rumors from “very serious journalists,” and Palmeri added that she heard the couples were living separate lives. McCain, who is also Republican senator John McCain’s daughter, wasn’t willing to name these highly regarded journalists.
On January 17th, Barack posted a loving birthday dedication to his wife on Instagram, with the caption, “Happy birthday to the love of my life, @Michelle Obama. You fill every room with warmth, wisdom, humor, and grace—and you look good doing it. I’m so lucky to be able to take on life’s adventures with you. Love you!”
