In the late 90s, the Brazilian striker left his native land and went to conquer Europe. Even then, Ailton was already overweight and could hardly fit on TV screens and magazine covers. However, in the “Bremen” the football player played more than 160 successful matches, and in 2004 even became the Bundesliga’s top scorer. However, this story did not have a happy ending. After leaving the Bundesliga, the Brazilian had problems with discipline, and he rarely managed to play at least a dozen matches for the new team.
