On the body of this young girl there is a scar about 20 cm long on her chest. When Joelle was only about a couple of months old, she underwent severe heart surgery due to a birth defect. When she was about 9 years old, the valve in her heart was replaced with an artificial one and this was the second operation. The girl cannot live in the usual rhythm of a healthy person and needs frequent rest, but this did not prevent her from living the way she would like to meet many amazing people and discover more and more new boundaries.
