What You Need to Do

By simply adding some detergent or washing powder to your toilet, you can achieve amazing results!

Pour about half a cup of detergent for white laundry into your toilet. You can flush beforehand to moisten the toilet bowl, making it easier for the detergent to stick. Spread the detergent evenly around the bowl.

Let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes to allow the ingredients to work their magic. The surfactants in the detergent help dissolve dirt and deposits, while the water softener removes limescale and urine scale. Additionally, the antibacterial bleach in the washing powder will also help clean the toilet thoroughly.

After waiting, scrub the toilet well with a toilet brush, making sure to get into all corners and under the rim if possible. Finally, flush the toilet, and you’ll have a sparkling clean bowl. You can use this method regularly instead of toilet cleaner or as a backup if you run out of toilet cleaner. Washing powder is a great alternative, and you probably already have some at home.
