Whitney Weight Thore talks Ozempic

After opening up about her recent experience with weight loss and shutting down the surgery gossip, she made it clear that she wouldn’t shame anyone who decided to opt for weight loss surgery. When speaking out about weight loss options, she also discussed the prescription drug Ozempic.

She explained that she’s been overweight for 20 years, and much of that experience has been in the spotlight, expanding that she would never judge someone for making a decision that made their life easier. Those said, “ I am not that fat person that’s going to say, ‘Oh my gosh, why are they on Ozempic? Why are they losing weight? They’re betraying me.’

She believes everyone’s body is their own, and they should be empowered to make their own decisions since living in bodies like hers can be quite difficult. As a result, she would never judge somebody who “wants to take some semaglutide to lose weight.”
