During the filming of The Brooklyn Vampire, Sonya was supposed to jump from a 14-meter house. All necessary safety measures were taken and an airbag inflated below the actress. On that day, the children of the young actress gathered to look at their mother’s trick, but due to the fact that the airbag was not installed correctly, Sonya hit the wall of the house. After lying for 13 days in a coma, the actress died.
