This film describes the events that occurred with the crew of the third expedition, which went to the moon, in 1970. At first, nothing boded ill, until an oxygen cylinder exploded on board the ship, which completely ruled out the possibility of a satellite landing on Earth. Interestingly, James Lovell, a real participant in those events, also starred in this film. It was he who at the end of the picture shakes hands with Tom Hanks, who played him in the film.
