Upon viewing the interior, the carriage’s compact nature becomes apparent. There is just enough space to fit an old mattress in, with storage underneath it for his personal belongings. André says it is a vast improvement over sleeping on the street, so he is happy with it for now. He also has plans to move the carriage to a more convenient location, but he doesn’t want to draw too much attention.

André has yet to experience winter in the carriage and is unsure how he will manage. As time passes, concerns arise about how long he can continue living this way before he is forced to find an alternative solution.
