In 1993, Brandon agreed to a lead role in the movie Raven, not suspecting that the day of his hero’s death coincides with his own. On April 1, 1993, during the shooting of the scene where Raven is shot from the ill-fated Magnum 44, the actor falls, and a pool of real blood forms underneath. It turned out that they forgot to remove the so-called «plug» from the pistol, which was loaded with blank cartridges — having flown out, it was stuck in Lee’s spine.
