In 1993, Brandon agreed to a lead role in the movie Raven, not suspecting that the day of his hero’s death coincides with his own. On April 1, 1993, during the shooting of the scene where Raven is shot from the ill-fated Magnum 44, the actor falls, and a pool of real blood forms underneath.
