Accident of An-32B in Kinshasa, Zaire
A terrible tragedy occurred in the capital of DR Congo (then Zaire) Kinshasa in 1996. The An-32B cargo plane of Moscow Airlines, which made the Kinshasa-Kakhemba flight, could not take off due to overload (instead of the allowed 2 tons, they lifted 5 times more on board!) And went to the territory of the local market, crushing 297 human, mainly women and children. On board died mechanic. Total number of victims: 298.
