This helicopter has become a new, improved model of the «Cobra», carrying more powerful weapons. Much attention in the development of this helicopter was paid to its survivability, but nevertheless, the main feature of Apache is its airborne complex, equipped with the most modern means of monitoring, searching and destroying targets. Throughout its life, “Apache” was improved and improved under various modifications. The Apache was equipped with a new generation of Hellfire missiles with a homing head that allows the helicopter to “hide” after launch. No modern helicopter is equipped with such a system, with the exception of the small European «Tiger».
