Flying Mi-28 tank. «Night hunter» (USSR)
This machine became the successor to the well-established Mi-24, only without a cargo compartment. Having gained experience in battles in Afghanistan, Soviet designers set about creating a more powerful machine — ideally armored and armed. The main objective of this helicopter was the lowest possible flight above the ground, the quick search and destruction of enemy targets. Over time, the helicopter was subject to some improvements. The Mi-28N “Night Hunter” modification was able to strike in various weather conditions and at night, and was also equipped with more powerful guns, bombs and missiles. Nevertheless, the crew of such a helicopter consisted of only two people.
