The plane, on board which was the Uruguayan rugby team, crashed in the highlands of the Andes. The rescuers did not even have the approximate coordinates of the guys ’location, and because of the heavy snow enveloping the mountains and the wreckage of the plane, it was extremely difficult to notice people from above. As a result, the victims of the disaster, the young guys were left in harsh conditions to their fate, often making morally difficult decisions on which their life depended. The consultants on the set were real people from that same team.
