Gary and Almeda admit that not everyone likes their unusual connection. Even the son of Almeda, who stopped communicating with her own mother after she began dating a teenager. The grandchildren of Almeda Aaron and Indiana also could not immediately understand and accept their relationship, but soon reconciled. «I perceive him more as a friend than as a grandfather, but our grandmother is happy,» says Aaron. “We live in the 21st century, age really doesn’t matter,” Indiana’s granddaughter added.
