Myth 7: snakes can hear and respond to music.
At least once in our lives have we all seen spellcasters playing a calm melody on a flute and hypnosis that fascinates snakes, introducing those into a state of blissful calm. We hasten to declare: all this magical action is an ordinary myth. In fact, snakes do not hear the melody they play, and the calming effect on them is exerted by the rhythmic vibrations and movements of the caster during execution.
