Audi
In 1909, a German engineer founded his automobile company Audi. The engineer selected the name for the company based on his own name. And his name was August Horch. Audi is a translation of the basis of his surname (from the verb horchen “listen”) to Latin. Therefore, “Audi” means “Listen!”
