Roy was on the team of the famous duo of artists Siegfried and Roy. In March 2002, while playing in a casino in Las Vegas, Roy was bitten by a white Bengal tiger right in the neck. Having received injuries incompatible with life, Roy spent some time in the hospital, but died as a result.
